SALA – the South Australian Living Artists Festival normally goes from the 1st to the 22nd of August for SALA Eudunda, as it does in many other places around South Australia.

After a fantastic launch night on Aug 1st – in the Eudunda Hall by David Cluse – Eudunda Area School Principle with the Eudunda Hall filled with art, the district is extending the display.

This year many of the exhibits will remain on display all through September as well so that visitors to the Opening of the Lavender Federation Trail can also enjoy the great efforts.

It should be noted that many of the ‘Funky Junk 2″ entries are outdoors, in front yards and over in many nooks and crannies – the best way to find them will be to drop into the Eudunda Visitors Centre where there is a map of the displays.

The night was not only about art, as next door in the Eudunda Club many musical talents entertained the gathering, including those who were at SALA. There were two new talents introduced on the night, one solo young lady and one very energetic young rock band – both were fantastic. Well Done to Nathan Bruhn and Eudunda Rocks.
