CHSALHN awards scholarships to those residing in these areas who have a strong commitment to a continued and future professional practice in the country.
Who Can Apply
- Full time students currently studying or about to commence an undergraduate degree at University in a relevant discipline.
- Full time students currently studying or about to commence a required graduate or professional entry course which will lead to the student, upon graduation, being fully qualified to commence clinical practice.
- Applicants must reside in or have resided in rural South Australia prior to undertaking their tertiary education.
- People of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are encouraged to apply
Eligible Courses
Scholarships will be awarded in relevant disciplines to meet Workforce needs; for the 2018 Undergraduate Scholarship Intake the following disciplines have been identified as areas of
workforce shortage: Registered Nursing, Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Dietetics.
