The Eudunda Street Parade has been revived. The Eudunda Street Party sub-committee, a part of ECBAT, heard that the residents wanted to have a parade again. Andy Freund showed us slides from the last one held in 1971. This gave some ideas for themes and what happened back then.

The invitation was out, and coordinator for the parade – Mr Trevor Mathews of the Eudunda Post Office, said there was quite good interest, with many booking in.

On the day – WOW!
That is what you would have to say! The parade was FANTASTIC!
It was great to see so many go in the parade, and the variety of enteries, and the work they put into them.

How best to show you is with a YouTube video

After the great street parade, the residents enjoyed the Christmas Street Party, with food, drinks, rides for the kids and of course “Father Christmas” who arrived on the town’s restored Fire Truck.

Keep your eyes open for news of the 2010 event so that you can join in.
