Everyone is welcome to attend this community event on the 1st March.

Help ECBAT tidy up the entrance to our Town and at the same time participate and celebrate ‘Clean Up Australia Day 2015’.

Location: Sherwood Forest.

A lot of residents probably know the area – but don’t know the area has a name.
It has been lovingly called Sherwood Forest for many years.
There is even a wishing well installed by the now defunct Lions Club.

The area has always been a popular parking spot for caravans due to the lovely shade from the trees in Summer, and that it is a bit out away from the town with few people around.
It’s also popular with Van & small Truck drivers who often buy dinner in Eudunda and go there to eat and relax for thier break.

In the last 5 years the area has suffered badly from some of the savage storms the area has endured, and many of the trees fell over.
Over time the area has become to look somewhat ‘neglected’ and we hope residents might be able to help give it some ‘love’.
ECBAT is hoping many hands will make light work of cleaning up around this tourist stop.

The cleanup starts with you registering for the event at the site from 10am. If you are late that is still ok, get there when you can.
Generally the clean up goes until about 12Noon, but sometimes just a bit longer if you are keen.

Wear your protective clothing and bring your own shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, mower, fuel etc. and also Slip, Slop, Slap.

Enquiries can be made with Andrew Partington on 8581 1608 or Peter Herriman 0429 811 958.

If you can’t make it there, we encourage you to help clean up around the community in some way,
One great way would be to offer to help an elderly person living near you to clean up.
