A great Fundraising event for the Eudunda Hospital Auxiliary, the Open Iris Weekend will be on the 19th & 20th October in 2013. Tourists come by the bus-loads, car and walk to view Betty & Ron Gray’s magnificent collection of Tall Bearded Iris.
Betty Gray “I love the Tall Bearded Iris. Previously each year the display had been expanded, with some 1200 named varieties and others too, it is at a point where I have to dig something out to put something new in.”
A donation of $5 dollars for entry goes to the Eudunda Hospital Auxiliary and includes a mixed plate by the volunteer ‘country cooks’ and a bottomless cup of tea or coffee.
“I hope to see you here at 40 Bruce Street, Eudunda on that Saturday or Sunday. You really can’t go wrong with a drive in the country, the scenes are beautiful at the moment” Betty said.
