Successful Information Evening gets SALA project under way
An information evening held at the Eudunda Club on the 11th September saw local artist Kate Jenkins introduce the idea of making mosaic tiles to decorate the future drinking fountain in the Eudunda Centenary Gardens.
All Welcome to participate, even if you were unable to attend the information session. Times are flexible.
Workshops are continuing to make the Mosaic tiles
Tuesdays 2-4pm (not every week)
Sundays 1-3pm (not every week)
NOTE: please check the notice boards in the Heritage Gallery and Post Office FOR NEXT TIMES.
You are welcome to come along and have a look, and hopefully feel confident enough to have a go.
Kate went through the process and showed slides of some of her work and how it was done. She explained that it was not difficult when the process was followed. Those attending have all volunteered to produce one or more tiles. There is room for many more to participate.
Students from the Eudunda Area School are also doing part of the project under Kate’s guidance.
