Our Mid North Region including Eudunda, Burra and Quorn has followed the movie “The Water Diviner” from early on, as the area has had a special interest with the early part of the story being filmed in the areas mentioned.
It is now your chance to see it on TV
Channel 7 will screen the World TV Premier of “The Water Diviner” on Monday 20th at 9pm.
Despite the fact that many residents have already seen the movie, we predict this will be a well watched movie on TV.
Many have already traveled to Gawler or beyond cinemas to see “The Water Diviner”. Plus on 8th February some 60 people were privileged to attend s special screening of “The Water Diviner” for Local Burra & Eudunda Residents at the Blyth Cinemas to celebrate the relationship the area has with the making of the film. Those attending also enjoyed very nice wines from Greg Cooley Wines and nibbles afterward arranged by the Burra Regional Tourism and Business Association Inc. making ti a grand affair.
The Water Diviner has since been released on DVD and many have enjoyed it in their own homes.
